How To Wear Floral Pants

Spring is on the horizon, and so is party season! Whether it’s a meadowy wildflower print, a bold blooming pattern, or something else beautiful, floral prints are always in-trend and the perfect stylish solution for ALL your wedding guest wardrobe needs! In today’s edition of What to Wear, we talk about ALL THINGS How to Wear Floral Print for Spring Weddings, so you can snag the title of the richest guest on the wedding circuit this spring!

In case you missed last week’s W2WW blog post, I featured What We’re Eating for Lunch as We Transition to Springlook, featuring the perfect balance of light layers and trendy pieces.

This high neck ruffle dress with floral print is fun to wear because it’s so pretty. Bold colors mixed with floral prints make this dress a spectacle. It has a ruffle detail at the bottom and appears all over the sleeve, creating a feminine and classic feel.

Because it is a rich shift style, it not only moves well on the dance floor but also bump-friendly! For size reference, this dress runs true to size, and I’m wearing a 0.

Is White Floral Ok To Wear To A Wedding?

I styled the dress with a pair of hot pink heels with rhinestones. The details make the statement and are the perfect event shoe. The exact shoes are no longer available, but I’m linking to another great Schutz option. This is a great brand for trendy and stylish shoes, like pumps and high-heeled sandals.

If the party is outside, don’t forget your glasses. This is one of our favorite pairings as it looks great on all face shapes. I also love the neutral brown, which compliments a variety of looks. To complete the look, I paired the YSL Medium Kate chain bag with the dress. Fits all needs, and matches most colors.

For a more formal wedding, try a floor-length dress with a floral print. I think you can still wear flowers of any color, bold or muted, to a formal wedding. Below I’ve rounded up some of my current favorites. If you are not sure if the wedding is formal, cocktail dress, or some other dress code, I would refer you to the wedding website or the couple’s invitation. If there is no such information, you can ask the maid/matron of honor if they know what the dress code is.

If the party is a cocktail dress, you can wear a midi or above-the-knee dress. Details that make it feel richer have prominent details throughout the dress. Whether it’s ruffles, one shoulder cut, tiered skirt or puff sleeves, dresses with this type of detail can usually be included in the cocktail attire. We’re in the time of year where you can wear pretty new spring dresses, but sometimes with precautions. Some days are hot and crisp, while others are chilly. For those in between weather, there are some great tips for the transition from winter fashion to spring. You can check out some more tips here on how to do that.

Ways To Wear A Floral Midi Skirt

But with a few new spring floral dresses in my closet, I had to share two ways to make them look great. It’s all about expanding your closet too. This dress can be worn easily all year round thanks to the versatile print and fabric.

Spring floral mini dresses are a wardrobe staple in my mind. And one that can be worn all year round when in the right fabric, fit and color. And this dress honestly. You can also do this with a maxi dress and still create the same look! Starting with a good foundation is key. I’m looking for dresses in the following fabrics that I can wear all year round. Cotton, poly-blend and viscose or silk are excellent. Avoid super lacey dresses, or anything with eyelets or seersucker because it just screams summer and lacks versatility. And remember to print. Floral dresses can really be worn all year round even if you wear winter florals for summer. But maybe order a tropical print dress that feels like a warm weather vacation for this one.

For each season, add your favorite layers. For autumn or winter, it can be boots and booties, comfortable long cardigans, leather jackets and even tights. Add heavier knits to keep warm and layer. In spring and summer, go light with a jacket, light sneakers or sandals, and embrace your bare feet!

Featuring all my favorite colors, this little spring floral mini dress can easily take you from cooler temperatures to sunny days. For cooler days, I teamed this dress with a cozy cardigan and booties. The easiest way to mix winter staples with new spring essentials. You can also add a cozy sweater on top instead of a cardigan to turn this dress into a skirt. Or if you’re like me, add a denim jacket (it’s your go-to outfit!).

Either way, by keeping winter to spring tips in mind, you’ll easily transition your pieces from season to season while still looking good. Some important tips to remember, keep wool coats at home when wearing spring dresses. That’s what a great cardigan is for! And maybe not wearing JUST sandals. Unless you’re in Florida or California, I guess. But slowly easing into the next season is what it’s all about.

For spring and summer styles, I lean towards light layers. Perfect for cooler mornings and also just adds a third piece. I always reach for a light denim jacket or a utility jacket. They are the perfect addition and don’t make you too hot. Add to the hot sneaker, I go to the platform Converse, but Keds can be or Supergas. You can also choose leather sneakers like Madewell Trainers, Vejas or Golden Goose as well.

If sneakers aren’t your thing, switch to fun sandals or espadrilles. They are perfect for spring and summer and make any outfit suitable for the season. I like these espadrilles from Castaner and also anything from Marc Fisher usually.

Some of the best dresses in my closet are the ones that work the most. From season to season, or just opportunity to opportunity. Here are some of my favorite dresses to wear to the max and style for the coming season and year. Chic Sightings: 10 Ways To Wear A Floral Skirt

Next to the stripes, I would have to say that floral print is my favorite. Sure we wear flowers in spring and summer (see some of our favorites here) but what about in winter? We always hear that we can wear winter flowers, but how do we do it? You know, without looking like you’re out in the wrong season.

How to wear winter florals is easier than you think, I promise. Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite floral print dresses (which I plan to wear in the spring) but showing how stylish it is for the cold winter months. There’s also more inspiration on how to wear this pretty print from some of my favorite bloggers, so let’s get started.

Real life: when I took this photo a few weeks ago, it was really cold outside. Off-camera is a huge, very hot cup of coffee that I’m constantly sipping to keep it roasting. Blogger problem, am I right? Just kidding, obviously, I survived. But in any case, it’s cold and the trick to wearing winter florals is all about layering. A warm knit beanie, jacket, thick leggings, and boots are essential. I think I will probably layer this look with another coat so it’s super warm, but unfortunately I wanted you to really see the dress because it’s very pretty.

Speaking of clothing, One of my tips for creating a winter floral print is to keep it dark. Notice how the background color of this dress is black, and the pink and peach flowers are on top. Darker colors are just better in winter than a white background like this sundress. (However, you can do a lighter background flower print in wintertime. Keep scrolling to see the floral jacket look I love!) I took black and carried it over for my leggings/tights and boots to keep with the wintertime theme. Add on
