Holy Grail Products For Oily Skin – And what is this?! A ~*~ lifestyle ~*~ post?! I’m not sure if I’ll be doing this regularly but the topic of my daily skin care regimen is something I’ve wanted to share for a while because when I’m not pampering at our house, I’m I am interested in caring. .

Having always struggled with feeling confident in my skin, I started wearing makeup around the 2nd grade around the 7th grade (in the 5th grade I tried blue eyeliner at a slumber party Counting) and I quickly realized that wearing makeup helped me feel confident in the skin I was never confident in.

In my early 20s, I realized how important it was to take care of the real skin that was underneath all the makeup. If I can improve my skin, I will feel more confident in my skin. What a feeling, huh? I am now a sucker for anything that claims it will prevent frizz, smooth, clear, cover, tan, brighten, whiten, etc. Does it all work? no. But I would quickly and easily turn to anything that claimed it would make me appear ~revived~.

French Skincare 101: The Absolute Best French Skincare Products

To this day, I rarely leave the house without at least some concealer and mascara, but I feel more confident about my skin now thanks to these products I’ve discovered and grown to love/use. give Daily I’ve tried many products over the last few years but this is one I’ve been using for at least 12+ months and don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

No. 01 Elephant Sukari Babyfacial // AHA/BHA that rejuvenates your skin – basically a facial in a bottle. I used to get facials regularly before I found this stuff easily before our wedding. Now, I use it several times a week and my skin looks amazing the next morning. PSA, it does smudge a bit the first time I apply it but I just leave it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it off. I also use this Elephant product about 1-2x a week and it really makes my skin soft/bright.

No. 02 Skinceuticals C E Ferulic // While looking for the *ultimate* anti-aging product, C E Ferulic kept showing its face (heh) and I couldn’t ignore the thousands of positive reviews. This vitamin C serum brightens lines, brightens skin and brightens complexion. And it works wonderfully. It’s expensive, but skin care is a non-negotiable investment for me. I have been using it nightly for over a year and I just bought my second bottle.

No. 03 Kiehl’s Daily Revitalizing Concentrate // I put a few drops on my face first thing in the morning and sometimes even before bed at night. This is a lightweight antioxidant face oil that leaves my skin feeling and looking fresh.

The Best Skin Care Routine For Oily Skin: Easy Oily Face Routine

No. 4 Read James Gradual Tan Spray // I spray this on my face and neck every morning and within an hour, I have a nice, glowing tan. It has replaced my foundation during quarantine and is the only face tanning spray that doesn’t break out my sensitive skin.

No. 5 Elta MD Tinted SPF // I have tried many different tinted SPF and this is the only one I like. It really makes my skin look smooth while providing sun protection and a glowing complexion.

No. 6 Palmer’s Moisturizing Body Oil // I stumbled upon this one day while looking for moisturizer at CVS. I now use it every night and it pulls out even more precious moisture than I used water. When I apply before St. Tropez, I have minimal streaks, even if I’m in a hurry and apply the tanner very poorly. It’s super moisturizing, lightweight, non-greasy, and smells amazing (bonus – it also helps with stretch marks).

No. 7 St. Tropez Classic Self Tan // My skincare obsession comes from wanting to not bake in the sun so I don’t look like a rotten raisin by the time I hit 33. So when I discovered the St. Tropez special on QVC, I was intrigued. . The trick to getting a seriously good tan is to moisturize well before applying. BTW QVC has the best price/deal I found and two bottles lasted me 10 months!

Holy Grail Esthetician Approved Skincare Products For Glowing Skin

No. 8 L’Occitane Hand Cream // Angelo bought this for me as a Christmas present after I complained that my dry, chapped, horrible hands were in desperate need of a new hand cream. Even though it’s summer, I still use it on my hands every night before bed and it’s so good that I don’t need to reapply for another 24 hours.

No. 09 DHC Deep Cleansing Oil // After years of trying combo face/eye makeup removers that were gentle and removed all of my makeup (I know, that’s a lot to ask), I finally this past year. Laughed and still can’t believe how. It removes makeup easily. And my eyes don’t feel like they’re on fire when I remove the mascara, which is a bonus.

No. 10 Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream // I usually apply C E Ferulic before bed, then this Kiehl’s moisturizer (and then the next product). This is one of the best moisturizers I have used and one bottle lasts a while.

No. 11. Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment // This is another product I use every night and it instantly brightens and moisturizes my eye area. The combination of this, Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream and C E Ferulic helps me wake up a little like a character from Night of the Living Dead.

My skin is far from perfect – as you can see, I’ve got my fair share of hyperpigmentation and shine. But I’m much happier with some of the skin care problems I’m at than I had years ago when my hormonal acne broke out. I feel lucky that my breakouts are much less than theirs, some of which I credit to my holy grail skincare products. I started developing a comprehensive skin care routine before my hormonal acne struggles began. Once my acne broke out, I cut out everything but cleansers and moisturizers. Slowly, I added back products – including some that helped me get rid of my problems.

Impatient I can’t use more than a few products. I’ve read about this cleansing balm for years, but the price tag held me back. I decided to try it during the Sephora sale and saw the light. There is zero makeup on my skin after using this. Shop at Sephora, Pharmacy

I’ve tried my fair share of expensive face washes, and this remains the GOAT of holy grail skincare for a reason. It is effective

Best Glycolic Acid Products, Per Editors And Dermatologists

Inexpensive We love a hassle-free queen. I love it so much that I convinced Wagner to use it – and I can attest first hand that getting a sesht man to take care of his skin is a chore. Shop at Alta, Target

I can’t praise this exfoliant enough. A few friends recommended it to me when I shared my hormonal acne struggles, and I decided to give it a try. That was two years ago, and I’ve taken it back every time I run out. I have noticed such a difference in my skin. Shop at Amazon, Sephora

I picked up a sample size during a Sephora sale just to see what the hype was about, and – sadly – loved it. I say it’s sad because of the price tag – 35 treatments are $92. If you use it every day, that number adds up quickly. To compensate for this, I only use it once every few days. I don’t use them on the same day as the Paula’s Choice BHA Exfoliant (I don’t have sensitive skin, but it’s a very intense treatment). The results are worth it. Shop at Sephora, Nordstrom

I’m not opposed to investing in holy grail skin care products, but I love finding affordable products that do an incredible job. That’s why CeraVe is a staple in my daily life — along with their facial cleanser, this nighttime moisturizer always gets the job done — and you can often find it for under $20. Shop at Alta, Target

Holy Grail Skincare Products: What I’m Currently Using & Loving

I have to keep it real: I was so amazed at the face masks that I personally went to Sephora and asked the salesperson for their racks. I settled on this niacinamide mask from the pharmacy because my pores are one of my biggest skin concerns. It’s so light that I put it on before bed and wash it off when I wake up. Shop at Sephora, Pharmacy Welcome to Part 2 of my Holy Grail skincare products! I hope you enjoyed my last post, but for now I will introduce the last 3 gems of my favorite skincare!

I use this serum day and night before moisturizing and it has definitely helped to keep my skin fresh, hydrated.
