The Best Loungewear For Women

The Best Loungewear For Women – …has the world stopped because of COVID? It was such a scary and traumatic event that you will never forget… much like when the space shuttle,

Exploded or the planes flew into the twin towers. You will never forget. I was in the Bahamas with my sister and we were both nervous. We pretended to enjoy the beautiful paradisiacal scenery around us, but we were both anxious. COVID has changed a lot of things… including the way we dress. Since we mostly stayed at home, we didn’t really have to dress up. Daywear has become a thing. Even the finest fashion houses have embraced loungewear, presenting it on the catwalks.

The Best Loungewear For Women

We go out and get dressed again, but many of us have a whole new appreciation for daywear and its role in our lives. We can now choose from many more beautiful loungewear. COVID ushered in an era of elevated, luxurious and beautiful loungewear and I’m definitely here for it!

Discovering Comfort: The Best Loungewear Brands Of The Year — Sivana

, I’m sharing one of my favorite loungewear sets and the most popular loungewear trends for Fall/Winter 2022 to help you look your most stylish self even when you’re hanging out or working from home.

Before we get to the daywear trends (below), I wanted to share my new collection of daywear that I’ve grabbed for fall. I know, I know, it’s hard to imagine that fall is almost here, but it’s coming! The peak of fall is 4 weeks away here in Telluride, Colorado. This lightweight yet warm wool and cashmere blend set is SO soft and chic. It looks and feels very luxurious. (Luxury sets made of high-quality materials are also one of the big loungewear trends this year.)

The pants can be pulled up with an elasticated waistband that makes them comfortable and couch-friendly. I love the flattering wide leg silhouette on the pants. Wide legs are another big loungewear trend. An oversized matching sweater goes great with jeans and these pants. I tucked the sweater half into my pants and pushed up his sleeve. (If you want a slimmer fit with the sweater, I recommend going down one size.)

Ultra Comfortable Loungewear For Women

I’m wearing a pair of shearling-lined mules on my feet. Cutting anything is very fashionable in autumn/winter. I am a HUGE fan of shearing since we have such cold winters. I also love that these mules have real soles, so you can wear them to pick up the kids from school, catch the mail, or any quick, “pop-up” errand.

If you get hot in cashmere or wool, struggle with heat waves, or simply want to take off your sweater, wear a simple white t-shirt underneath. I’m wearing a versatile, lightweight linen t-shirt that can easily be worn on its own or under sweaters or jackets.

One thing to consider when shopping for luxury loungewear is whether you can wear these pieces from home. For example, I’ll wear the sweater above with jeans and sneakers for an easy fall look. And I also wear the pants with a t-shirt and a cardigan or jacket for a comfortable, pulled-together look for errands or even travel. Each piece can be worn with other items in my wardrobe, giving maximum versatility to the investment. .

Best Women’s Loungewear Sets And Pieces

There are SO many luxury loungewear sets to choose from. But if you’re looking for super luxe sets, opt for materials like cashmere and wool. You can also wear a sweater that has cable knit detailing or ribbing for a luxe look. And don’t forget, just because I say ‘kits’ does NOT mean it has to fit perfectly. If you have a smart black cashmere sweater and some black joggers, you can pair them for a set look and achieve the same goal!

This is the perfect example of kits becoming more and more polished and sophisticated. Button-down shirts are inherently better put together than sloppy sweaters. And it’s a wardrobe staple that every woman has or should already have in her closet! All you have to do is put on a pair of comfortable pants to match and you’re good to go! Plus, it’s a perfect work-at-home job.

Many women over 40 shy away from colors and prints. Of course it’s a long time ago, but the color is amazing! Bright colors and prints are also very ‘in’ at the moment. Please take a moment to watch Valentino’s Fall RTW Fashion Show featuring everything PINK from head to toe. If you’re not comfortable with bright, bold colors, you can start with something more muted, like a navy blue or sage green.

Silk sets have been “in” for a while, but now we can see them in brighter colors, fun patterns and interesting silhouettes. I’ve also seen silk slip dresses with a cozy sweater over them, which I think is a really elevated and chic way to rock this trend without looking like you’re wearing a full silk PJ set!

The Best Loungewear Brands For Nailing Jetset Style

It’s no surprise that wide leg silhouettes are in. For the past two years, I’ve been talking about baggier jeans and pants, so of course the trend has spread to daywear as well. There are SO many options in different fabrics, lengths and widths. Choose a silhouette that you feel good in, but I’m not willing to go with the pants above…

There are certain daywear pieces that are also trendy…like hoodies, turtlenecks, and quarter or half zips. I recommend a stylish quarter-zip sweater with jeans and a zip-up for a casual, chic look any day of the week!

Chunky and fluffy knits are a BIG trend for fall! Think ribbed, knit, mohair, ango, wool and all those really strong textured fabrics that you just have to reach out and touch! I’ve always loved fuzzy sweaters and I don’t think they’ll ever go out of style. But they happen to be more relevant at the moment. Style an existing textured sweater with a pair of comfortable wide-leg pants or joggers for a trendy loungewear look.

I know I know. The jumpsuit is heavy. Finding the right length and fit for your body can seem daunting. And then there’s the bathroom situation to deal with. BUT, if you think a matching set is easy…a jumpsuit is even easier! It’s a one-off that you don’t even have to think about. Plus, if you’re lounging at home, you don’t have to worry about the dreaded public bathroom situation either! Jumpsuits come in a variety of cuts and fabrics. But if you want to try the loungewear combination, there are more and more options with comfortable elastic waistbands and wide leg knits… which sounds like the ultimate in comfort to me!
