Makeup Routine For Acne-prone Skin

Makeup Routine For Acne-prone Skin – As a mother of 2 very active children in my late 30s, I don’t always have time to go all glamorous with my makeup. But since my skin is acne-prone, I rely on a daily, full-coverage makeup routine. In this post I will share this routine with you and it will take you MAX 15 minutes once you get it down.

The first thing you always do is take care of your skin. My main routine now is Emme Diane Skincare and it works well for me. At the moment I’m sick and my skin likes to beat me up when that happens. BUT it prompted me to do this tutorial that I should have on my Instagram stories but Instagram deleted it to save to highlights because I talk too much. Obviously, follow whatever skin care routine is best for your skin.

Makeup Routine For Acne-prone Skin

To begin with, my skin is very oily and very acne prone. I need to FIX A LOT OF THINGS. But I’m tired of constantly working in a full, heavy coverage rhythm every day. I changed my routine a bit and found that I love everyday use, so I can keep this heavy look for evenings out.

My “no Makeup” Makeup Routine 🤗

. The Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Skin Perfecting Primer that I’ve been loving for months. I do this first thing before I go into my other face makeup to let it sit on my skin and fully absorb.

. Mine is very sparse, so I like to go in with Benefit Precily, My Brow and then set it with Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder. I top it all off with Benefit 3D Browtones (all in shade 03). I use Benefit High Brow to sharpen and highlight the under brow area.

Yes, the irritation and redness should go away. Unfortunately, we can’t rush it, so we’ll hide it. For my face, I start using IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout

Active acne. If you use the right brush and press it instead of painting it will cover completely.

Then I take the Maybelline Green Coverstick and apply it to my cheeks to cover the redness. Blend this with a beauty blender. After dealing with that, I put on a medium coverage, light feel foundation. Lately I’ve been loving the Healthy Foundation Doctor’s Formula. I put it on with the applicator and blend it with the beautyblender.

After that, I define the concealer with a thick concealer. My favorite item since its release has been the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot. To apply this, I take the same brush I used with Bye Bye Breakout and press the small side where I want to hide and I paint over that area (but not directly in the area not on top). I also do this on the inner corners of my eyes.

My under eye area has been a bit dry lately so I switched gears and switched to a more hydrating concealer. L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Concealer works well in masking light and dark circles. I’ll definitely apply and go in with the beautyblender.

Yes, we still hide, but we cook. My favorite powder is the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Powder. It keeps everything in place, leaves me as matte as ever and helps brighten my complexion. Plus, it smells AMAZING. I apply all of this to my t-zone, focusing on my under eye area with my beauty blender.

I finish off my makeup with IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation. It’s a powder that sets everything in place, conceals more and helps me look at least a little flawless. I apply this with a brush.

The best way to hide something is to focus on something else. One of my favorite features is my eyes, so even on a neutral day, I always make sure they stand out.

On easy days, I pick up the whole eyeshadow through the crease so I don’t have to worry too much about blending and moving as quickly as possible. For this look, I used the Milani Bare Necessities Everyday Eyes palette in matte taupe, bronze and white gold. Since this palette doesn’t have a matte bone/creme shade to mix the color shadow with the brow highlight, I pulled out MAC In the Flesh Eyeshadow x 15 and used Elemental. This palette is great for when you need a neutral shade and can’t find one. 9 times out of 10 it will be in Flash.

For liner I used Urban Decay Corrupt 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (you always want a tried and true shade) and for mascara I used Butter London Stroke of WOW. I am so impressed with this new mascara and the thickness and volume it gives my lashes.

5. Wake up your face. Since there are so many face products in this look, you can’t completely avoid blush and bronzer. For this look I used the bronze side of the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Blush palette and for blush I layered with Flower Beauty Sweet Pea because the matte finish and color just sinks into my cheeks for a perfect blush. I usually skip highlighter for everyday looks, but lately I’ve been so in love with Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezi that I couldn’t resist!

Well, usually it’s just a little liner, sheer gloss and finish, but I added a little today. I always line my lips to line them up and make them look a little fuller. For this you need something neutral. In this look I used NYX Peekaboo Neutral Lip Liner. I topped it off with Urban Decay Backtalk Hi-Fi Shine Lipgloss, which was more pigmented than I thought it would be, but the pairing between the two was perfect.

Although it seems like a lot, it doesn’t take a lot of time and it gives me a little more confidence during the day. You can click on any of the links or images above to shop the look and keep an eye out for other similar looks on my Instagram stories as I’ll be doing it again! to overdo it on my face, this is my go-to 5-minute makeup look for oily, acne-prone summers ☀️

My goal for my ‘no makeup’ makeup look is to be easy, affordable and comfortable 💕 I usually don’t include foundation as part of this look because I consider foundation the ‘big’ part of my makeup routine I know it’s a step. , adding more power to it. However, the concealer is applied less forcefully and faster, so sometimes I would define the concealer, but I didn’t use it here.

Game Day Look: Best Makeup For Acne Prone Skin

For my brows, I filled in the sparse areas with ulta beauty’s sculpting pencil, then combed through with nyx’s thick it stick it mascara. then i took so much faced’s better than sex waterproof mascara and put two thin coats on my upper and lower lashes. then, i used rare beauty soft pinch fluid using two small dots on each cheek and blended with my fingers. Finally, I applied the new Sugar Lips to my lips for hydration, color and a little shine.

This makeup look is so easy because it uses only a small amount of products and no extra tools. For my version of the “no makeup” makeup look, I add some color to my face while enhancing some of my features. I love this routine for summer because it allows my oily skin to “breathe” and prevents me from sweating off foundation at the end of the day 😄Not everyone has smooth, flawless skin and acne is the most common in America p skin disease. Having acne-prone skin can be difficult, especially when you use tons of makeup every day. Most acne sufferers don’t know what’s in their products, and many companies still use pore-clogging ingredients in their products. Just because a makeup artist swears by a great product doesn’t mean it’s okay to use on acne-prone skin.

This makes it especially difficult to find and wear makeup that doesn’t clog pores. Clean makeup is amazing, but it often contains ingredients that rank high on the comedogenic scale. Companies substitute things like replacing mineral oil with coconut oil, which is safer for your health but clogs more pores for your skin.

If you struggle with your skin, you may find yourself frustrated when it comes to finding the right makeup for acne-prone skin. However, there is hope. In this article I will share my makeup routine
