I don’t know about you, but I’m a fan of this oh-so-fast game that has been taking over the world lately. As someone who works from home, I’m always looking for an excuse to get out of wearing any kind of workout clothes IRL (in real life – ha!) but outside of work. indeed. So I wanted to put together a post to chat with you all about it – to see what you think, introduce yourself to it (if you’re like… wait, what? is that something?) and talk about how to pull it off. for yourself.

So what? As I’m sure you can deduce from the name “Athleisure” – it’s actually a combination of athletic and leisure wear combining work with style and comfort! I feel like it all started with lululemon back in the day – the pioneer of fitness apparel. And over the years, it has become an amazing thing to look good while working out and wearing casual clothes. And all I can say is, I’m all over the boat!

Pulling off this fast-paced style of play requires some thought, but mostly it’s just a mix of basic play with your usual go- in what you already wear. Like this outfit here, I’m wearing my moto leggings with one of my favorite everyday sweaters and my new bomber jacket. I have my workout top on under the sweater but I went to run errands since it was so cold outside.

I think the key to pulling off the look I’ve been to the gym and now I’m running is to maintain and save on a few things. successful game play. Also, I think any sports outfit paired with these Adidas allstar sneakers will be a winning pair – pretty cool if you ask me! Only one (fancy-ish or non-sporty) piece makes an entire outfit; so I think framing your face can be very useful!

Apart from this look, I wanted to share a few of my favorite things-things I take when putting together a sportswear outfit-like this: my zella black leggings are great for sports and double for regular leggings. overalls (those I wore with almost every outfit for my how to make leggings blog post!); I’ve been wearing my vince warren sneakers (size down 1/2 size) on REPEAT lately and I’ve been tossing them with leggings and a big sweater lately! They really make an outfit if you ask me – they have 2 colors!; I also love to wear sports t-shirts like this one by adidas because they are easy to style and cute if you ask me! Also, can you have too many t-shirts? I’ll give you some great go-to games to buy in a widget below!

Athleisure Explained: What Is It And Who Is It For?

So what is the game? The official sportswear description is: Sportswear or casual, comfortable clothing suitable for exercise and everyday wear. . In fact, I think the sport was first created when a celebrity threw on a denim or leather jacket over their workout clothes after yoga and it suddenly caught on. From there it probably went to Pinterest and the rest is history. Over time, games have evolved in a real sense and style, which is why we are listening to them today. The difference now is, you don’t really need to train to wear sports bras.

What started out as a simple and effective way to go from yoga to lunch (by throwing on another table to look stylish) has now become a tradition that we are all about. all try to fix it. And I don’t really hate it. You no longer have to sweat to wear sportswear, which may be a new experience for some. You don’t even need to wear your workout clothes, either. I like to think that sportswear is more about movement and comfort, but a little more. Think playful and cute sportswear to pair with your favorite accessories or a jacket. You can run around and do all your chores, and look good while doing it.

For those of you who are new to the trend, feel a little lost, or just need some guidance, I’m going to explain 3 different ways to pull off sportswear.

I can wear sportswear every day if no one cares. I’ve always been a dresser and I’ve always been drawn to a lot of sports or athletics, so you can imagine my love of athletics is real. I finally have an excuse to buy all those hoodies/sweatshirts I keep seeing. Since I have a lot of experience with sportswear, I’m going to share my top tips to help you achieve the perfect sportswear look.

Athleisure Capsule Wardrobe

Zella is my favorite type of game. They have cheap parts, but the best part, the quality is AMAZING. Their Live In Leggings are awesome – thick enough to wear to play or with a cardigan and boots. They also have midi style leggings, perfect for little ones. I have these and these and I wear them year round!

Over the past year or so, I’ve found some really cool sportswear at Abercrombie & Fitch. Fur jackets and hoodies are very cute and neutral in their activewear category. Basics are great too – think denim jackets, utility jackets, puffer jackets, and parkas – all great pieces to pair with leggings, sneakers, or t-shirts.

I love Nordstrom for cute sportswear. You can buy sports and non-sports items in one place. They also tend to wear cool clothes or t-shirts, which makes the sport more fun to try. I love the variety, good value, and hassle free returns that always help.

If you are just starting the game, try combining 2 or 3 of the things below and you should be good to go.
