Please walk us through the core of this topic. What should we know about essential oils for skin?
Elina: Many people don’t understand the difference between artificial fragrances and flavors made from pure essential oils. Essential oils contain the highest concentration of botanical properties and most of them have powerful antiseptic, healing and rejuvenating properties.
How To Incorporate Herbs And Oils Into Your Skincare
Artificial fragrances smell the same but have no therapeutic effect on your body. They can also cause side effects and are not biodegradable when washed off. So please remember the difference, read the label and choose products with natural essential oil and not artificial fragrance.
Every single essential oil has more or less antibacterial properties. From this perspective, they could all work as a pimple preventative. All essential oils cannot be applied directly to the skin as they can burn it. They need to be diluted in another oil called carrier oil. Sometimes the carrier oil can be heavy, such as olive oil or grapeseed oil, and can clog pores. That’s why, for breakout prevention, I prefer to use a carrier oil that won’t clog pores, like neem or sweet almond oil.
You should never apply essential oils pure and undiluted. People can be allergic to any substance and essential oils are no exception. Different people may have different sensitivities. Sometimes people are sensitive to citrus oils, sometimes people are sensitive to cinnamon, and sometimes people are sensitive to bergamot. However, you cannot say that you should not use these oils because they can be of great benefit to other people. If you have never used essential oils before, I recommend diluting it properly, then applying it to your forearm and waiting 48 hours. If you feel good after 48 hours, you will most likely feel good about using it on your face.
If someone has removed a pimple, you can disinfect the area with tea tree oil. To reduce extreme discoloration, you need to use essential oils, which significantly improve microcirculation and provide better blood flow to the injured skin. Healthy skin cells regenerate more efficiently and the scar disappears more quickly. For this reason, the best oils are oils with a warming effect, such as ginger, cinnamon and cloves.
When To Apply A Face Oil
The best thing to remember is that you can apply it directly to the skin, but they need to be diluted in a light base oil like almond oil, or you can add them to the serum or your favorite moisturizer. Do not exceed 2% (98 drops of carrier oil and 2 drops of pure essential oil). Very often, essential oils are sold pre-diluted and mixed with the carrier oil, so you need to find out about the composition of the product.
My favorite beauty essential oils are a combination of ylang-ylang, sandalwood, and frankincense. These three are great for dry and sensitive skin and have excellent anti-aging properties. They have an incredible aromatic quality that lifts mood and supports your skin, especially during the changing seasons and winter.
Organic Boswellia carteri, known as “frankincense”, is excellent for cell rejuvenation and skin renewal, making it ideal for aging skin. Frankincense supports your skin on many levels: it has astringent and antimicrobial properties and helps heal your skin. Egyptians have used incense on their skin since ancient times.
Organic Santalum Album, also called “sandalwood,” comes from India and is one of the oldest known flavors. Sandalwood works well for all skin types and is therefore valuable for combination skin, which most people have, myself included. It has many properties that help reduce skin imperfections. It promotes the formation of new skin cells. It also has antiseptic properties, making it beneficial for soothing dry, chapped, chapped and inflamed skin.
Essential Oils Might Just Be The One Product Missing From Your Skincare Routine — Now Let’s Get Going X Ayoka Apothecary
Organic Cananga odorata, commonly known as “Ylang Ylang,” is derived from a beautiful white star-shaped flower. It has exotic aromas that help relieve stress and calm your mind. It is also known for its aphrodisiac properties. I love adding a few drops of ylang-ylang and sandalwood to a warm evening bath.
Ylang Ylang also contains several nutrients such as eugenol, which has strong antibacterial properties. Therefore, it is suitable for all skin types and helps regulate oil production. You can add ylang ylang to your hair oil and massage it into your scalp. It improves blood circulation while nourishing the hair roots. This oil has a calming, calming and healing effect on your skin.
You can make aromatic face and body oils by diluting one to three percent (1-3%) essential oils in a carrier oil. You can create many aromatic formulas for your face, body, bath and others! Almond oil is one of my favorite carrier oils because it is light. I also like to use jojoba and grapeseed oil. You can also use jasmine in combination with ylang-ylang and sandalwood to uplift your mood and relax. All three produce a beautiful, romantic aroma that will lift your spirit and make you feel happy.
For every 2 drops of essential oil, use 200 drops of your carrier oil on your face. For your body, use 3 percent essential oil (6 drops of essential oil per 200 drops of carrier oil).
Simple Health Benefits Of Essential Oils!
All essential oils have antimicrobial properties. You can diffuse essential oils in a diffuser or add 25-30 drops of essential oils to 4 ounces of water. purified water to create a mist. Shake well and spray around yourself. The spray helps purify the air, which is crucial for prevention during flu season. The presence of essential oils significantly reduces flu viruses.
It’s important to note that there is a difference between aromatic oils and pure essential oils. Pure essential oils need to be diluted in a carrier oil base such as almond oil, grapeseed oil, or jojoba oil. You can also dilute oils in water. However, since oil and water do not mix, you must shake the bottle each time before spraying vigorously.

Most people today don’t realize how much they can do to treat and prevent their health and beauty. Modern medicine, especially regenerative medicine, can cure complex diseases and its aesthetic potential is completely revolutionary.
Although there are exceptions and rules, in general a person unfamiliar with essential oils should not use them on the skin due to the risk of harm. For example, tea tree essential oil can burn, irritate or sensitize the skin, even if it is not used pure but in oil mixtures. Meanwhile, lavender oil stimulates skin cell renewal, effectively treats acne and disinfects. Therefore, not all essential oils should be applied directly to the skin, but there are exceptions
