How To Choose The Right Skin Care Products
In this post, our experts have compiled the best products you should use according to your skin type. Read on for an effective skin care routine to suit your skin type, along with recommended ZALI Health and Beauty products to breathe new life and vitality into your skin.
The skin care products that work best for dry skin are those that can keep your skin well hydrated and moisturized throughout the day. Most often, the moisture barrier in dry skin is damaged, which can allow the skin’s natural moisture to escape through invisible cracks. In worse cases, irritants and harmful chemicals can penetrate dry skin more easily than other skin types.
Cleanser (morning/night): A gentle yet effective cleanser like Zali’s DeepFacial Foaming Cleanser can do wonders for dry skin. Your dry skin will get new life with a gentle exfoliation. Most often, dead skin cells accumulate over healthy skin, and moisturizing this dead skin will not give you any satisfactory results. A mild cleanser that contains ingredients like AHA, BHA, and glycolic acid can help you gently and effectively get rid of these dead skin cells.
Toner (morning/night): Toner is a must-have product for achieving healthy skin with balanced pH levels. Daily use can also help restore your skin’s natural moisture levels while protecting it from pollutants and environmental stress. Try Zali’s AHA & BHA Daily Cleansing Toner.
Best Products For Oily Skin, Per Dermatologists
Moisturizer (morning/night): The final step in your dry skin care routine includes a moisturizer to help your skin retain its natural moisture throughout the day.
In oily skin, the size of the sebaceous glands can become significantly larger than in dry skin. This, in turn, can lead to high sebum production. For this reason, you should use products that contain effective ingredients to combat the overproduction of sebum in the skin.
Oily skin can become a breeding ground for bacteria that often lead to acne breakouts. Wash your face two or three times a day and use products that can reduce this oil production without making your skin dry and lifeless. We recommend Zali Cosmetics Deep Foaming Facial Cleanser that is free of alcohol, parabens and mineral oil. Use twice a day can help restore the skin’s natural pH level without affecting the skin’s natural oils.
Toner (morning/night): An alcohol-free toner with ingredients such as AHA, BHA and glycol is great for removing dirt, impurities and bacteria without drying out the skin. If your skin is prone to acne, try Zali’s AHA & BHA Daily Cleansing Toner.

The combination skin care routine contains ingredients that are effective against a range of skin problems. Combination skin is dry in some places and oily in others. However, you don’t have to follow two different skin care routines. Instead, find one that works well for both dry and oily skin.
Cleanser (morning/night): Start your day with a high-quality, chemical-free foaming cleanser like Deep Facial Foaming Cleanser. Suitable for almost all skin types, this cleanser is formulated with proven effective ingredients such as AHA, BHA, glycolic acid and Kalanchoe extract. Regular use can make your skin feel more balanced and healthy instantly.
Toner (morning/night): We love the simple yet highly effective AHA and BHA Daily Cleansing Toner from Zali Cosmetics. It works great at unclogging and minimizing pores and improving your skin tone from within.

Not every product works for every skin type, so knowing your skin type is very important. There are 4 types: dry, normal, combined and oily. Two good ways to find your skin type are the bare face method and the blotting paper method. I recommend doing both so you can double check the result. Try this test in both summer and winter, as your skin can change slightly depending on the season.
Clean the skin with a mild cleanser and pat dry. Do not apply any products. No moisturizers, no toners, no serums, nothing. Check your skin after 30 minutes. Is your skin tight? Do you have dry patches or any flakiness? Does your skin look dull? Then, you most likely have dry skin. If you see a bit of shine on your T-zone,
