5 Must-try Makeup Looks For Spring – When I get messages on Instagram asking me about my makeup, I usually refer them to my must-have makeup post. Until I actually read it today and realized it was over 2 years old. I’ve replaced some old favorites with new products that I now love. I promise an update to the guest house will be coming soon. I’m trying to stay away from plumbers this week, but in the meantime, I thought it was the perfect time to update this post with my new favorites! So, here we go with my makeup must-have β my daily makeup routine.

5 Must-try Makeup Looks For Spring
I thought I’d also break down the order and how I use each product in case it helps. So let’s start by preparing my face. I wash and moisturize my face every morning and use the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum I mentioned before. I follow up with Elemis Marine Cream with SPF and I’m ready for my makeup products.
Makeup Trends: Looks To Try In The New Year
Firstly, I’ve been using IT Cosmetics Your Face But Better Primer for over a year and I love it. I like to apply it after moisturizer and leave it on for a bit before applying my CC cream. Meanwhile, I apply the Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion. I have hooded eyes and without this stuff my eyeshadow creases horribly. I’ve been using this for a million years and swear by it. I also put a little bit of Becca Eye Brightener under my eyes while I set everything. Now my face is ready to go.
I used to use a few different foundations depending on the season, but I switched exclusively to IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF. As I get older, I love this formula’s light coverage and built-in SPF.
Tarte Shape Tape is still my all-time favorite. I just asked to try the super creamy formula (my mom swears by it!) which is supposed to be better for aging skin. I like to use it under my eyes, under the bridge of my nose, and dab a little on my chin and forehead.
After concealer and CC cream, I set everything with powder. I’ve tried a few different setting powders over the past couple of years and have repurchased one from Laura Mercier twice now. It’s very nice and light and not clumpy. It sets my makeup and reduces any shiny areas.

Bronzer is another item I have a drawer full of. This Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer was a favorite in my late 20s, and I’m not sure why I stopped using it! It’s a gorgeous warm shade, not orange, no sparkle. It just adds a really natural glow. I use it to define my nose a little too.
I love the Benefit Cheek Party blush/bronzer set that I recently purchased. It was a great way to try out a bunch of different colors without a huge commitment. I actually love all the colors and rotated them. My summer favorite is the GALifornia Sunny Gold Pink Blush.
I love using a little highlighter (a little goes a long way) especially in the summer months. The Marc Jacobs O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer is my go-to product. It has a really beautiful glow. I use it on my brow bone and cheekbones. Bonus β they’re on huge sale right now!
Like most teenagers who grew up in the ’90s, I unfortunately suffered from misguided hair-pulling in my youth. Filling in sparse blonde eyebrows is a must. The Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade makes it a very quick process, and the blonde color is the perfect color for me. The Duo brush makes it very easy to apply.

The Tartelette 2 in Bloom Clay eyeshadow palette is still my favorite. It has neutrals that are great for everyday use, and some deeper colors for a more dramatic eye at night. I usually apply Flower Child all over my eyelid, and Jetsetter and Sweetheart to my crease during the day. At night I like to use Rebel or Activist. I also use the Smokeshow color along my lash line as an eyeliner.
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliners are still my go-to. It is very easy to apply because it has a tip-like applicator. If you can color the lines, you can use this. I like to use Intense Smoky Quartz for day, and Intense Black for evening.
The Loreal Voluminous Lash Primer set plus the Lash Blowout Mascara from IT Cosmetics has been my favorite set of the past year. I love how this kit makes my lashes look full and fluffy without being spidery.
I like to keep my lips looking very natural, but with a hint of color. I use Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner in Pillow Talk to lightly define and fill my lips. Then I layer Buxom Power-full Plump Lip Balm in Big O throughout the day. I love Buxom products, and this hydrating lip balm with a hint of color is perfect for daytime. I love their complete lip cream for night.
Must Have Makeup
Finish things off with a few spritzes of Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. It really keeps my makeup in place!
I think this is my makeup must-have, my daily makeup routine. I know it sounds like a lot of steps, but it only takes me about 10 minutes to apply. You can click on any of the bolded links above or double-click on the boxes below. With spring and summer just around the corner, here are 5 must-have products when it comes to skin makeup!!
π MAC Dewy Skin Tint Β£30 β I’m obsessed with this product! I’ve been using this as a base for my full beauty look too. It makes the skin look like glass and very smooth. It creates a sheer color on the skin, but still lasts a long time. With 78% skincare ingredients too, you know it’s good for your skin at the same time. I use shade medium 2.
π Pink Honey BFF Cream Bronzer, Β£16.50 β This cream bronzer is super blendable and melts into the rest of your makeup. It had a shiny finish so it was perfect for spring and summer. This product comes in 12 colors and they are all very popular! I use candy shade paint.

π Fenty Beauty Pro Filtβr Concealer, Β£22 β This concealer is magical! Crease resistant with a semi-matte finish, yes it is still very creamy. Because of the creaminess it makes it easy to blend. This product comes in 59 colors which is amazing!! I am wearing shade 210.
π Refy Cream Blush Β£14 β If you want a dewy blush, get one of these!! Very creamy and blendable, I think this might be my favorite cream blush formula on the market. I use the shade Malaya.
π Laure Mercier Translucent Powder Β£36.50 β a standout powder and for good reason! It evens out the skin and helps control oil throughout the day. Surprisingly, it also contains vitamins C and E, so your skin gets some benefits from it as well. I use the shade Honey which is great for medium to dark skin tones. I also use this on my Trigwell Cosmetics powder. Well, if you celebrate Easter, you know that it’s not a holiday typically known for its amazing makeup moments (sorry, that award goes to New Year’s Eve), but it

Coquette Makeup Is The New Beauty Trend To Try
This white eyeliner is a simple makeup dream and also a perfect Easter look. Simply draw a small wing on the outer corner of each eye, blend a little blush on your cheeks, and cover it all with a layer of lip gloss.
Coral lipstick is basically the cool sister to pink lipstick β like the one that knows all the new TikTok moves and gets triple-digit likes on photos. I will try it as soon as possible for Easter.
Okay, I know I’m being harsh on pink, but when you put it on your eyes and lips for Easter? It’s instantly cooler.
If the change of seasons is your favorite excuse to try new, colorful makeup looks, take this look to the lab.
